An important disclaimer: I'm looking for friends, not romance per se. I don't consider a romantic relationship to be the goal, but rather think of it as a particular type of deep friendship that emerges between people who have developed a great deal of feeling and trust between them over a long period of time. I think everything about how we approach romantic relationships is more or less completely upside down, and I am not at all interested in "dating." I'm interested in taking all sexual intrigue completely off the table long enough to investigate who we are to one another, and if we share a mutual admiration for and enjoyment of one another. No timeline, no pressure, no particular goal in mind, just an open interest in whatever emerges.

All that said, a bit about me and what is most important to me.

I've been vegan for 20+ years and was vegetarian many years prior to that.

I'm passionate about veganic permaculture and I live on a spectacularly overgrown and almost entirely untamed five acres in rural West Virginia, where I don't have an HOA to complain about my bad behavior.

I work as a coach and counselor, and I am a huge believer in (good!) therapy. If you don't have a very good sense of how your childhood wounds are still influencing your patterns and emotional capacity as an adult, and you don't have a real passion for healing and expanding that capacity, we probably won't be able to develop much of a connection.

I would say I'm "spiritual but not religious," as annoying as that phrase is. I believe we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, and that our prime directive is to grow toward truth and love. I find a great deal of faith in the divine order to things (and the nature of that divine order) by observing the natural world.

I'm over a decade sober, and as part of my recovery I practice (or try to, however awkwardly and uncomfortably and imperfectly) radical honesty.

Some things I value very much in other people, and in our time together:

* Reverence for life and emotional and spiritual growth
* Self-responsibility and humility
* A passion for relational repair
* A passion for the truth and courage to meet whatever it reveals

So life is all about giving and taking without any expectations or fear of control. You allow nature and time to take charge of your pursuit in life. No regrets, just an inner growth thing within you.

If you traverse the path with me...you will find nothing but pure love, authenticity, all truth, compassion and gratitude in its truest form. Relationship is all about equally giving and equally honoring one’s love for one another. Accepting “WHOLEHEARTEDLY” the way we are, and trusting the sacred connection without remorse or discrimination…is the “REAL SUCCESS" in building a relationship from the get go.

I’ve been on a constant path of self-awareness and healing since young. I'm definitely looking for a serious relationship with someone whom I can meet at any progressing level of consciousness (so long the desire is there to connect sincerely). Someone who thinks outside the box. Someone who is passionate in becoming a self-realizing soul, and shares our values together. Someone who definitely links divinity and true social connection in our everyday life.

Nature is deeply important to me. I love walking with my bare-foot on...through the fields and uncharted lands, jumping fearlessly into the sea, wandering through the wilderness alone or with a company, meditating in good silence in natural parks, falls or sanctuaries, sky gazing the stars of the universe, dipping myself in cold or pristine rivers, and mountaineering/hitchhiking the scale of the sacred mountain paths around the world. So that’s just some natural side of me, which activates my outdoors sense whenever possible. I can share more...but another time :)

I like to sing and dance. Yes, singing and dancing is quite important to me as well. It always gives me my most healing and nourishing soulful experience.

I love traveling, and exploring thrilling adventures across our dear planet EARTH. I’m quite capable of opening up the door of true freedom to an unlimited cultural experience which will define the human spirit, values and the unity of our human race!

I like being creative. I love music and movies of all types and genres, so long the message is there for life improvements. I think these two entertainment elements represent the bigger side of me. I can be...a bit of an old fashioned type, but never a let down by the current standards of lifestyle. I’m very honest and straight up, and at the same time...I'll be super-neutral about what I say and do when things go right or wrong.

My wish is to leave some positive vibrations in the universe and to feel “LIFE" as one of my lasting legacies. My future soulmate would surely be my last "incredible-masterpiece" of a true relationship experience.

Cycling, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, and sailing are my favorite outdoor activities. No, I do not own a boat. My regular bike ride is 26 miles, and my last hike was about 7 miles.

I began dancing about two years ago. I am primarily studying Salsa and Rueda de Casino, which is similar to square dancing but performed in a circle, where partners constantly change based on Spanish calls. It's a blast!

I am responsible, respectful, kind, compassionate, loyal, giving, honest, monogamous, affectionate, and passionate.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist who is kind, caring, and effective. This is a calling, not a job. It is an honor and a privilege to do this sacred work.

I am grateful to live on this ancient and vibrant land. It is truly a magical place with incredible beauty around every corner (almost). I am most at home in the natural world, and this is it. We are tropical beings, and I live in our natural environment, eating our natural diet: fresh, ripe fruit (right off the tree, when I'm lucky)!

About me

When there’s something I believe in, I fight for it with every fiber of my being. With a natural-health approach to life, nothing makes me happier than surrounding myself with nature. There’s also nothing I won’t do for an animal in need. Many chapters of my life have been filled with adventure -- from time spent as a ranch wrangler to my days running a chainsaw...then a stint as a court reporter...and later, flying the friendly skies as a flight attendant. However -- there have also been deep life-challenges and losses that have humbled my soul. My dream job now would be working with an animal sanctuary. One of my favorite places in the world is the San Juan Islands (after the tourists have left), and if I could move anywhere in the world, it would be somewhere in the San Juan Island archipelago.
