My description:
I always find it difficult to describe myself especially because I don't easily fit into boxes. I am quite flexible in my interests, always choosing to learn new things even if I never actually get any good at them. Mainly it seems a little bit of a pity to experience the joy of a sunset, coffee or the little things that make my life worthwhile by myself. In short, I consider myself a renaissance man - which seems like a tall order, but it just means a Jack of all trades and a Master of none. Now, to be more specific, I work to live, enjoy being the assistant chef, play multiple sports, enjoy nature, the mountains and the water, love to read, hiking or walking. I do like live entertainment - theater, concerts, ballet, sports. I am finding that when I travel I like to go to destinations that are less about learning about history and more about learning about the culture, the people, the food. I love getting into random conversations when I travel and I thoroughly enjoy train travel. I am a good travel companion - easy going and capable of roughing it or being really comfortable - and am reliable, consistent and adaptable. I am pretty good at the man type stuff - you know, like if you need some firewood chopped for the fireplace, I am the go to guy for that. I have never really tried a cattle drive, but I believe I could (metaphorically and literally) build a fire with a flint. And of course, skinning ... a jackfruit or breaking a ... coconut are both right up my alley. If "safe" fun sounds interesting to you, I provide that in dosages provided you have the prescription for it.
Seeking:
I am looking for a woman who has a good balance of living her life with her friends and family and also wants to interact, learn, grow and experience intimacy in a partnership. Someone who enjoys cuddling and snuggling to a good movie with a nice glass of wine and some excellent cheeses. Someone who understands that the relationship is about sharing the ups and the downs, but does not need to create drama out of nothing. Someone who warms my heart and who sees the world in a positive way - at the very least starts off by trusting that people want to do good and sometimes have a bad day. I have generally found that if I show the person in front of me that I am willing to let them merge at their own pace, that the person behind me then holds back and gives me space as well. And this applies to all walks of life. Of course, I am not a pushover and I am also not expecting that my partner allows others to roll all over them. I tend towards intellectualism, so someone who can balance out that side of my personality would be nice. I have learnt over the course of my life to express my feelings and to be vulnerable and would like someone who can take that vulnerability and not exploit it. Hopefully you have interest in Indian culture, spices and vegetarian food since FWIW, these are aspects of me that are embedded since childhood and as we all know, what forms in childhood sticks with us through life. Hope to meet you and expand your horizons as I hope you will mine.
